Apple iPhone 11 Pro Review & Overview
Apple iPhone 11 Pro was released on September 20, 2019.
4GB + 128GB — Rs. 85,000
Key highlights: Apple A13 Bionic (7nm) chip, 4GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, 5.8-inch Super Retina XDR OLED 90Hz display, 12MP triple camera with 2x optical zoom, 12MP selfie camera with Face ID, 3046mAh battery. Ships with iOS 13, upgradeable to iOS 26.6. Colors: Matte Space Gray, Matte Silver, Matte Gold, Matte Midnight Green.
Display
5.8-inch Super Retina XDR OLED 1125 x 2436 pixels 90Hz refresh rate — a rare, unofficial-spec addition Apple never advertised on this model, so treat it as a bonus rather than the headline feature HDR10 and Dolby Vision support Scratch-resistant glass Compact 5.8-inch size, genuinely easy one-handed use compared to almost every current phone
Platform
Apple A13 Bionic chipset, 7nm Hexa-core CPU 2 x 2.65GHz Lightning cores 4 x 1.8GHz Thunder cores 4-core Apple GPU Shipped with iOS 13, upgradeable all the way to iOS 26.6 AnTuTu score around 460,784 Still handles everyday apps and moderate gaming smoothly thanks to Apple's efficient chip design
Memory & Storage
4GB RAM with 64GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage NVMe storage for fast read/write speeds No microSD card slot 4GB RAM sounds low, but iOS memory management keeps day-to-day performance from feeling limited
Main Camera
Triple rear camera setup, a genuine step up from the standard iPhone 11.
12MP primary wide camera f/1.8 aperture, OIS, dual pixel PDAF 12MP telephoto camera f/2.0 aperture, 2x optical zoom, OIS 12MP ultrawide camera f/2.4 aperture, 120° field of view Dual-LED dual-tone flash HDR photo and panorama support 4K video recording up to 60fps The telephoto lens is the main upgrade over the base iPhone 11 — useful for portraits and zoomed shots, though low-light performance is dated compared to current mid-rangers
Selfie Camera
12MP selfie camera f/2.2 aperture, 23mm wide lens SL 3D depth sensor for Face ID and portrait selfies 4K video recording up to 60fps
Battery
3046mAh battery Li-Ion, non-removable Wired charging with PD2.0 — 50% in 30 minutes, charger not included in the box Qi wireless charging Small battery by today's standards — expect to charge daily, and check battery health closely if buying a used unit this old
Connectivity
Nano-SIM + eSIM, dual-SIM 2G, 3G, 4G LTE — no 5G support Wi-Fi 6, dual-band Bluetooth 5.0 GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS NFC for mobile payments Lightning port, USB 2.0 — needs an Apple-specific cable, not USB-C Ultra Wideband (UWB) support No FM radio, no headphone jack
Design & Build
Dimensions: 144 x 71.4 x 8.1 mm Weight: 188g Glass front and back with a stainless steel frame — noticeably more premium in hand than the aluminum-framed iPhone 11 IP68 rated (4m water for 30 min), better water resistance than the standard iPhone 11 Face ID instead of a fingerprint scanner Stereo speakers
Bottom Line for Pakistani Buyers
The iPhone 11 Pro is 6 years old now, but the stainless steel build, OLED display, and telephoto camera still make it feel more premium than the standard iPhone 11.
At Rs. 85,000, it's priced close to genuinely current phones like the Google Pixel 8 and Infinix Hot 70 Pro, which offer newer chipsets, bigger batteries, and modern displays.
It makes sense if you want the smallest, most premium-feeling iPhone possible and don't mind an older battery and no 5G. For pure specs and features per rupee, a newer Android flagship or upper mid-ranger will beat it.
Alternatives in the Same Budget
Google Pixel 8 (Rs. 85,000) — A newer chipset, better camera software, and a bigger battery for the same price. Infinix Hot 70 Pro (Rs. 84,999) — A strong budget alternative with modern specs and a larger display. Apple iPhone 11 (Rs. 69,000) — Worth considering if you want to save money and don't need the telephoto lens or steel frame. Apple iPhone XS Max (Rs. 65,000) — A cheaper older iPhone option if budget is the main priority.
