Things to check carefully before buying the vivo V80:

1. Examine the Phone

• Check the 6.59-inch AMOLED display for scratches, dead pixels, touch issues, and smooth 144Hz performance
• Inspect the frame and back panel for dents, cracks, or signs of repair
• Test the 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and 50MP selfie camera
• Check the speaker, microphone, vibration, and under-display fingerprint sensor
• Insert both SIM cards and confirm calls, mobile data, and 5G work properly
• Test Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and NFC if supported by your regional variant
• Check the USB Type-C port and test charging with the original 90W charger
• Check the IP68/IP69 protection, but avoid deliberately testing water resistance

2. Verify the IMEI Yourself

• Dial *#06# or check Settings > About Phone
• Match the IMEI with the box and invoice
• For a Pakistan purchase, confirm PTA/DIRBS status yourself after the phone is officially available
• Insert your SIM and test calls and mobile data
• Don't rely only on the seller's claim that the phone is PTA approved

3. Confirm All Accessories Are Present

• Check for the 90W charger, USB-C cable, SIM eject tool, case, and warranty documents
• Make sure the charger is original and supports the phone's rated 90W charging
• Test the charger, cable, and charging port before completing the purchase
• For imported units, confirm whether the charger and accessories are original and suitable for your region

4. Check the Warranty Card and Invoice

• The invoice should show the phone model, IMEI, purchase date, and seller details
• Ask whether the warranty is official vivo warranty or retailer/importer warranty
• Keep the invoice and warranty documents safe
• For used or imported units, ask whether the display, battery, cameras, or charging port were ever replaced

Resale Value — What If You Sell It Later?

The vivo V80 does not have an established Pakistan resale market yet because the phone has not officially launched in Pakistan as of September 2026. Current Pakistan price references are still listed as expected prices, so it would be inaccurate to give a fixed used-phone resale estimate at this stage.

Once the phone becomes officially available, its resale value will mainly depend on the exact RAM/storage variant, PTA status, physical condition, battery health, warranty, and current market demand.

What Affects the Final Price

• Physical condition — scratches, dents, or display damage reduce value
• Battery health — a healthy 6500mAh battery improves buyer confidence
• PTA status — PTA-approved units are easier to resell in Pakistan
• Original accessories — box, 90W charger, cable, and invoice add value
• Warranty — remaining official warranty can help
• Repair history — original, untouched hardware generally retains more value
• RAM and storage — higher configurations may attract more buyers
• Market competition — newer vivo V Series models can affect demand

Tips to Get a Better Resale Price

• Keep the original box, 90W charger, cable, case, and invoice
• Use a good case and screen protector from the beginning
• Avoid unofficial repairs and low-quality replacement parts
• Keep the display, cameras, and charging port clean
• Remove your Google and vivo accounts and factory reset before selling
• Clearly mention the RAM/storage variant and PTA status
• Take clear photos of the phone and accessories when listing it
• Be honest about scratches, repairs, or other defects
• Compare recent listings for the same variant before setting your asking price
