Google Pixel 10 Review & Overview

Google Pixel 10 was released globally on August 28, 2025. No official launch in Pakistan — it comes in through private importers.

12GB + 128GB — Rs. 194,000

Key highlights: Google Tensor G5 (3nm) chip, 12GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 6.3-inch OLED 120Hz display with 3000 nits peak brightness, 48MP triple camera with 5x optical zoom, 10.5MP selfie camera, 4970mAh battery. Ships with Android 16. Colors: Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass, Obsidian.

Display

6.3-inch OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate 1080 x 2424 pixels (~422 ppi) HDR10+, 2000 nits HBM, 3000 nits peak brightness Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 Very bright panel — stays clearly visible even in direct sunlight Compact 6.3-inch size, easy one-handed use

Platform

Google Tensor G5 chipset, 3nm Octa-core CPU 1 x 3.78GHz Cortex-X4 5 x 3.05GHz Cortex-A725 2 x 2.25GHz Cortex-A520 PowerVR DXT-48-1536 GPU Android 16 out of the box, up to 7 major OS updates AnTuTu score around 1,173,841 First Tensor chip built on TSMC's 3nm process instead of Samsung's — noticeably better efficiency and less heat than earlier Pixels Smooth for daily use, camera processing, and moderate-to-heavy gaming

Memory & Storage

12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage 128GB uses UFS 3.1, 256GB uses faster UFS 4.0 — worth knowing if you value storage speed No microSD card slot 12GB RAM keeps multitasking smooth even with heavy background apps

Main Camera

Triple rear camera setup, a step up from the "a" series models.

48MP primary wide camera f/1.7 aperture, OIS, dual pixel PDAF 10.8MP telephoto camera f/3.1 aperture, 5x optical zoom, OIS 13MP ultrawide camera f/2.2 aperture, 120° field of view Multi-zone laser autofocus LED flash Pixel Shift, Ultra-HDR, Best Take 4K video up to 60fps, 10-bit HDR video Real 5x optical zoom is the standout here — most rivals at this price only offer digital zoom or a weaker telephoto lens

Selfie Camera

10.5MP selfie camera f/2.2 aperture, 95° field of view Autofocus included, rare for a front camera 4K video recording at 30/60fps

Battery

4970mAh battery 30W wired charging with PD3.0 and PPS — about 55% in 30 minutes 15W wireless charging, Qi2 compatible Reverse wired charging and bypass charging support Battery size and charging speed are both average for a flagship — not the fastest, but enough for a full day of normal use No charger included in the box

Connectivity

Nano-SIM + eSIM, dual-SIM 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G support Wi-Fi 6e, tri-band Bluetooth 6.0 with aptX HD GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS, NavIC NFC for mobile payments USB Type-C 3.2 Satellite SOS service — useful for emergencies in areas with no signal No FM radio, no 3.5mm jack

Design & Build

Dimensions: 152.8 x 72 x 8.6 mm Weight: 204g Glass front and back with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 Aluminum frame IP68 rated (1.5m water for 30 min) — a genuine advantage over most local rivals Under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner — faster and more reliable than the optical sensors used on cheaper Pixels Stereo speakers

Bottom Line for Pakistani Buyers

The Pixel 10 brings real flagship upgrades over the "a" series: 5x optical zoom, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, satellite SOS, and a much more efficient chip.

It's still grey-imported, though — no official warranty or authorized service center in Pakistan.

At Rs. 194,000, it competes directly with locally available flagships that come with proper warranty and support. Worth it if camera zoom and software longevity matter most to you; a locally warrantied flagship may suit you better if after-sales support is the priority.

Alternatives in the Same Budget

Samsung Galaxy S24 — Comes with local warranty and a familiar service network. iPhone 15 — A strong pick for buyers who prefer Apple's ecosystem and resale value. OnePlus 13 — Worth considering for faster charging and stronger raw gaming performance. Xiaomi 14 — A good option for buyers who want flagship specs with faster charging at a similar price.
